Respect for a great people.

by MH
(Sunshine Coast Qld.)

I am thinking about seeing Uluru. But I will respect the original Owners of this land and will not be one of those who ignore the gentle request not to climb. I see this ignorance as the equivalent of someone carelessly walking over the grave of one of our family members. We would not ask kindly, we would simply not tolerate it.

Therefore I think there should be other options like joy flights where tourists can fly over in a light plane or helicopter so they can study Uluru without the subtle desecration that is occurring now.

Plus.

Why is it alright for one group of people to stop another group from visiting an area that is world heritage listed for its geological significance?
