Climbing Ayers Rodk in the 60's

I climbed Ayers Rock in the late 60's. There was a hotel that gave out certificates to say you had completed the climb. Unfortunately my certificate was lost in the cyclone (Darwin 1974). We not only climbed it (family of 5) but we went swimming on top in the rock pools that collected rain water. My mother even collected fish fossils from the top of Ayers Rock.
